Brownies

Updated: Apr 3, 2022

Fudge brownie with crispy edges, but soft and chewy on the inside.

This recipe came from my mom. My brother use to make them with our mom when I was a kid. We had this fudge brownie recipe and also a cake brownie recipe. I loved both growing up, but fudge brownies are my favorite. I'm a big fan of icing and I love milk chocolate frosting on my brownies. Sugar overload, but oh so good!

How to Make Brownies

This recipe is easy and comes together quickly, but does take some time to bake!

Like any brownie recipe, all of the wet ingredients go together first, the sugar, vanilla, eggs and melted butter. Whisk together until fully combined. The dry ingredients of flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder can be sifted together and then added to the wet mixture. Mix until all ingredients are fully combined. It will be a thick, delicious batter!

Note: I have added mini chocolate chips to my batter, I mean why not? They turned out beautifully! Give it a try!

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Pour the batter in to an 8x8 baking dish lightly sprayed with cooking spray or lined with parchment paper. Cook for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

I think you will like these Forkin' Good rich and delicious brownies!
