Hello Pasta Lovers! This is a deliciously simple recipe for Baked Cavatelli at home! A flavorful meat sauce, tender pasta and topped with mozzarella cheese! This mouthwatering recipe is easy to make and one you can't say no to!

Easy Baked Cavatelli

This is one of my family’s favorite recipes because it is easy and delicious. This is also just really good comfort food so if you know someone who needs comfort, this is the dish to take them!

This recipe came from my sister-in-law more than 30 years ago when we had the pleasure of working side by side in a small company. She told me this was a keeper and she was so right. The seasonings in this recipe blend so well together and each bite just keeps getting better!

Finding cavatelli pasta where I live can be difficult, but I was able to find an organic version at our local grocery store. If you're unable to find cavatelli pasta, I tend to use penne pasta in it's place. It works well, but you can also use your favorite pasta!

What You Need

  • Cavatelli or your favorite pasta

  • Italian Sausage

  • Ground Beef

  • Tomato Sauce

  • Italian Seasoning

  • Oregano

  • Tones Garlic Bread Sprinkle

  • Salt

  • Black Pepper

  • Mozzarella Cheese

Tips for Making Easy Baked Cavatelli

  • Purchase a good brand of Italian Sausage because the spices in the sausage will provide amazing flavor to the recipe

  • Pick up 93% lean ground beef for this recipe because it has less fat and will pick up the flavor from the sausage when you brown the meat in the same pan

  • Add Red Pepper Flakes for additional flavor, optional
