Chocolate Fudge

This Chocolate Fudge recipe is made with just 3 ingredients and comes together quickly! It is simple to make, has a rich flavor and is perfect as a gift or sharing this holiday season.

This recipe came from a friend my husband worked with. She made the fudge and brought it to the office and he loved it so much, he asked for the recipe. I have had this recipe since the early 1990's so it's been around a long time, but it is so good and more importantly, it is SO EASY! You can literally have fudge in minutes!

What You Need:

Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Sweetened Condensed Milk

Vanilla

Nuts (Optional)

How To Make Chocolate Fudge

If you're in a pinch and need to take something to the holiday work potluck or you need one more thing for your treat platter, give this a try because it is so quick and easy. To get started, take a 9x9 inch pan and line it with parchment paper and set aside. You can melt the chocolate chips in the microwave wave or on the stove top, however you prefer. If using the microwave, you will need a microwave safe bowl and will microwave the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk for one minute, then stir. If you need to melt the chocolate chips a little more, do it in 30 second increments, stirring after each 30 seconds. Once the chips are fully melted and smooth, add the vanilla and stir well. At this point you will add about 1/2 cup of your choice of nuts (optional).

Pour the mixture into your prepared 9x9 inch pan and spread evenly. I like to pop the fudge into the refrigerator to cool down quickly so you can cut and serve or store.

How To Store Fudge

Store the Chocolate Fudge in an air tight container in your refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. You may also freeze the Chocolate Fudge by wrapping it plastic wrap, then moving to an air tight container or freezer bag. Take the fudge out of the freezer to thaw on your counter top for at least two hours before you plan to eat!

You will want to make this recipe because it is Forkin' Good! Enjoy!
