Tips for Cold Spaghetti Salad with Italian Dressing

  • Substitute the spaghetti for your favorite pasta! This recipe is typically made with spaghetti noodles.

  • Use your favorite Italian Dressing - I like the Zesty Italian dressing(s).

  • Salad Supreme Season Mix is by McCormick and can be found at the grocery store in the spice aisle or with salad dressings and condiments.

  • I like sliced cherry tomatoes in the salad, but grape tomatoes can be used as well since they are half the size of cherry tomatoes, but have thicker skins.

  • Add mini pepperoni, red peppers, black olives for additional flavor.

  • In addition to green peppers, you may add orange bell peppers or yellow bell pepper

  • You may substitute the parmesan cheese for mozzarella cheese or feta cheese

  • Make this side dish at least 3 hours before serving to allow for the Italian dressing to soak into the veggies and pasta. I think it’s best if it chills overnight!

How to Make Cold Spaghetti Salad with Italian Dressing

Once you have the spaghetti boiled, simply chop the veggies, add the seasoning and dressing and let it chill before serving!

Step 1: Cook spaghetti in boiling water according to package directions, stirring often while cooking. While the spaghetti is cooking, chop the vegetables.

Chopped vegetables.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped veggies. Drain the pasta noodles and rinse with cold water. Add the cooked (and cooled) spaghetti on top of the vegetables in the large bowl. Add the Salad Supreme Seasoning and the garlic power and toss. Add the bottle of Italian dressing and toss until the pasta and vegetables are fully coated with the dressing. Cover and allow the salad to cool for at least 3 hours before serving. The longer it's in the refrigerator, the better the flavor!
