This delightful salad is both refreshing and simple to prepare. If you enjoy cream cheese frosting and grapes, you will definitely adore this salad and may even question whether it qualifies as a dessert!

When you look at the salad for the first time, you might question what all is happening, in fact, the first time I had this creamy dish I thought Cool Whip was one of the ingredients, but it is the delicious cream cheese dressing! Let me add that the cream cheese dressing will remind you of cream cheese frosting (yum)! A dear friend shared this recipe and I was in love with it after the first bite! It is really easy recipe to make with ingredients you likely have at home. This is a popular dish with my extended family and is definitely a must try!
What You Need

Seedless Green Grapes
Seedless Red Grapes
Cream Cheese, softened
Sour Cream
Powdered Sugar
Vanilla Extract
Brown Sugar
Pecans, optional
Tips for Making Easy Grape Salad with Cream Cheese
Clean the fresh grapes well and put on a paper towel and allow them to dry completely before combining with the cream cheese mixture. Remember to purchase firm grapes!
Leave the crisp grapes whole or cut in halves or fourths if you're serving this dish to kids; making it less of a choking hazard
Adding the pecans is optional (I did not). To get crunchy pecans, toast them in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until they become fragrant and brown, remove from the heat and place on dish to cool. Chop up the crunchy nuts and add to this easy fruit salad!

Store this creamy fruit salad in an airtight container or in your large bowl covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If the creamy salad is left at room temperature, it will be a good idea to refrigerate because you don't want to leave it out more than two hours due to the sour cream in the recipe.
