A flavorful pumpkin treat any time of the year!
I've tried a lot of Pumpkin Bars in my life, but these are by far my favorite. The recipe came to me from my sister from another mister and she makes them every year at Thanksgiving, a family favorite that we look forward to! I have taken them to potlucks, tailgates, etc. So easy to. make! I think this will become a Forkin' Good favorite at your house too!
How to Make Pumpkin Bars
Let me start by saying this is an easy to follow recipe that will give you excellent results. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Next, in a large bowl sift all of the dry ingredients together, the sifting gives the bars a really wonderful texture.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the oil, sugar and beaten eggs until combined. Add pumpkin and continue to mix. Once all wet ingredients are combined well, slowly add the dry ingredients and mix well.
Prepare two 9x13” pans or one Jelly Roll pan with cooking spray. Pour mixture in to pan(s) and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or when the knife comes out clean.
How to Make Cream Cheese Frosting
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with an electric mixer. Frost the Pumpkin Bars when cool. Decorate with sprinkles or corn candy (as shown in the photo). Cut and serve.
