Addicting Snack Mix that is perfect for any holiday! Add your favorite cereal, pretzels, holiday M&M’s® and coat with white chocolate! A quick, no-bake treat the whole family will love!
I wanted to make something for Valentine's Day and I didn't have a lot of time so I put this together in about 20 minutes (plus time for it to set up). This is very popular on social media and since I didn't have a recipe and didn't have a lot of choices for ingredients, I put together what I had and let me just say that it truly is addicting and delicious. If you like salty snacks covered in white chocolate, this treat is for you!
What You Need
Cereal
Pretzels
M&M’s®
White Chocolate or Almond Bark
Sprinkles, optional
If you like easy snacks, try Choco-Scotch Clusters or Popcorn Balls.
How To Make Snack Mix with White Chocolate
Once your chocolate is melted, pour over the cereal, pretzels, and candy and let it set up! So easy!
In this recipe, I used Corn Chex, Rice Chex and Mini Pretzels. Use your favorite cereals or whatever you have on hand, like I did!
Step 1: Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper. Combine the cereal and pretzels in a large bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Cook for 30 second intervals, stirring at the end of each cooking time until it is creamy.
Step 3: Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal and pretzels and combine. Add the M&M’s® and continue mixing.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture onto the parchment paper lined sheet pan and spread evenly. If desired, drizzle a little more white chocolate over the top of the mixture then add sprinkles.
Making Snack Mix for All Holidays
This Snack Mix can be made for all of the holidays. Simply substitute the Valentine M&M’s® and sprinkles for Easter, 4th of July, Halloween (Fall) and Christmas. If you plan ahead before making this, unlike me, try other variations in the Snack Mix like marshmallows or popcorn. Also, try drizzling milk or dark chocolate over the top once you have it on the sheet pan. Yummy!
How To Store Snack Mix with White Chocolate
Store the Snack Mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You may also freeze any leftover snack mix in an airtight container or bag for up to 2 months. Remember to thaw at room temperature when you're ready for more!
